A Journey Back in Time
Days of innocence and wonder,
Filled with sunshine and rain,
Childhood memories, full of thunder,
Echoing through my brain.
Running through fields of green,
Chasing butterflies and bees,
Jumping in puddles, so serene,
Feeling the cool breeze.
Building sandcastles on the shore,
Watching the waves come and go,
Hearing the seagulls soar,
Feeling the sea-salt flow.
Memories of laughter and play,
Of friends and family dear,
Of love that never fades away,
That stays forever clear.
Oh, the sweetness of childhood,
Its memories so pure and true,
A journey back in time we should,
For its magic will renew.
