The Silent Evolution of Nature

Stream of Consciousness

Animals have changed a lot lately. Last weekend, I played football with a dog. It received the pass I threw by rising on its hind legs and softening it with its chest before sending it back to me. We ran around until our tongues hung out on the grass.

One day, I saw a crow; it was eating the meat on a big bone. Meanwhile, a poor dog was watching it from a distance, trembling with fear and drooling a bit. Crows have always been very clever, but when did dogs start to fear birds?

Instagram is filled with talking cats. "Gokhaaaan, get up!" is my favorite. Birds have been chatting for ages. While we sit idly in front of screens and let artificial intelligences do our work, are animals evolving?

I hope they'll be the ones to govern the world after us, not the artificial intelligences we've created...
