The sea, a vast and mighty thing, a world of wonder, of ebb and flow. Its healing powers are a gift to bring, a balm to soothe the heart and soul
The salty air, a tonic strong, a breath of life, a cleansing power, clears the mind and sings a song, a melody to heal and empower.
The sound of waves, a gentle lull, a rhythm soothing in the mind, calms the nerves and eases all, a peace for all to find.
The sand beneath is a soft embrace, a place to rest, to feel secure, it cradles us with gentle grace, a comfort to endure.
The sun above, a warming light, a spark of life, a vital force, fills the heart with pure delight, a joy to stay the course.
The sea, holds a magic key, a power to renew and heal, it brings us back to harmony, a love that we can feel.
So let us seek the salty balm, and let the sea work its healing charm, for in its depths, we find a calm, a peace that keeps us from all harm.

In the hot summer sun, and, The monsoon rains, Cultivation that does, He is our farmer brother. morning and evening work, In that sweaty rice, that doesn't stop That is our farmer brother. Take home with a smile, In that festival of Navanna, harvest man, Our farmer brother. Learning to improve, In an area of the village, The man who cultivates, He is our farmer brother.For which we today, Bengali with fish and rice, For which Bangladesh today, A major agricultural country, That is our farmer brother.

B. A. Durham’s False Memories blends dream and reality in a seamless mix. As his father, afflicted by Alzheimer’s, fades away, the narrator is haunted by a dream that may be a memory, returning to him insistently. The piece is full of wonderful detail (the father touching his lip where once there was a mustache, “but now he is clean-shaven—he has been for years” — and moving in revealing the complexities of a family’s life. A worthy winner which shows the power of dreams to influence us.
