The Protectors

A Tribute to Those who Keep us Safe

By Tamseela FarooqPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Doctors, police, and soldiers too,
Each day they work to see us through,
They keep us safe from harm and fear,
And wipe away our every tear.

The doctors heal our bodies and minds,
With care and skill that's hard to find,
They mend our wounds and ease our pain,
And give us hope to live again.

The police patrol our streets at night,
And keep us safe from harm and fright,
They catch the bad guys, lock them away,
And make our world a better place to stay.

The soldiers fight our wars abroad,
And keep us safe from foreign fraud,
They risk their lives to protect our land,
With bravery that's hard to understand.

But let's not forget the unsung heroes,
The everyday people who keep us near,
The firefighters, the paramedics too,
Who rush to help when we're feeling blue.

So here's to all our protectors great,
Who work so hard to keep us safe,
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
For all the love and care you impart.
