The Ocean Is My Liquid Domaine

Saltwater Runs Through My Every Vein

The ocean is my refuge, my temple, my nirvana — my liquid domaine.

The sea is our Eden, the Genesis of all humanity.

Saltwater runs through my every vein.

From single cell entities to more complex life form,

We crawled from your depths to the land so warm.

The ocean is my refuge, my temple, my nirvana — my liquid domaine.

As we are born from a watery womb,

Both salt and water we must daily consume.

Saltwater runs through my every vein.

Tied to the cosmos through the rising and falling of tides,

The moon and the planets serve as our celestial guides.

The ocean is my refuge, my temple, my nirvana — my liquid domaine.

I hear your rhythmic call from coastal lands,

Beckoning me to your pristine sands.

Saltwater runs through my every vein.

To bathe in your depths is what I adore,

And frolic on your playful shore.

The ocean is my refuge, my temple, my nirvana — my liquid domaine.

Saltwater runs through my every vein.
