Writing is an act,

of little things,

A perfect puzzle of thoughts,

and feelings,

put together,

stringing together letter,

into words,

into sentences,

until poems and stories,

are complete.

Line by line,

page by page,

there is magic,

in the art of writing,

a strange sort of alchemy,

changing ink into people,

places, and things.

Turning words into worlds,

This is the craft,

a collection of small parts,

gathered together,

each writing session,

you can smell the paper,

and feel the page under you hands,

and hear the soft scratch of the pen’s nib.

All these little things,

coming together,

in just the right way.
