The Isolation of Truth

This is when you are heard but misunderstood.

When you are heard but misunderstood, quite opposite to what you meant, you become sad. It's as if you picked up a fallen object, knocked on the door, handed it to its real owner, and he accused you of being a thief!

Or, an abandoned but historic building is slated for demolition, and a commercial plaza is planned to replace it. You start a social movement to save that historical heritage, be blamed for opposing development.

Or, some mafias steal the precious stone from a civilization's testimonial mountain, and when you lead the effort to save it, you're accused of pressuring them to cut you in on the wrongdoing.

Or, you advocate for the uplift of the downtrodden to join the social mainstream, and you are labeled as promoting the mixing of filth with piety.

It's not just about losing the majority's support altogether.

The tragedy is that you're left alone with your truth, and your demons confuse you, preventing you from even raising the flag of truth above your door. Thus, you're denied the chance to continue the tradition of Giordano Bruno.

This speaks truth of the universal human experience of coping with doubt and loneliness. Incredibly done! 💌
