Laura was heading back to her room,
With her plate of supper in hand,
She turned the corner,
And quickly stumbled to a stop.
Her eyes wide with fear,
A scream stuck in her throat,
She scurried back behind the corner,
Hoping that she was wrong,
That she was seeing things,
That she was actually alone in her house.
Gulping,
Laura slowly peeked around the corner,
And to her dismay,
She really wasn’t alone.
Laura ducked back behind the corner,
Wondering what to do,
When she realized there was only one thing to do,
No matter how unpleasant it was.
She reluctantly put down her plate of food,
Raced to the front door,
Grabbed her trusty Croc,
And with a terrified war cry,
She ran back to that hallway,
And killed the spider,
No bigger than her fingernail.

Delightful and I am glad she got that spider,
Oh this is sooooo good, though I try not to kill spiders as they do so much good
Humorously written and loved it!!♥♥♥
