THE ICE QUEEN & WHITE WOLF I PROMISE

FAIRYTALE POETRY

THE ICE QUEEN ( NIGHTCAFE )

The Ice Queen

I have never been colored with love

Fairy tales will never be for me

Prince charming doesn't exist and love is not in my text

In my world, every Love I've ever had already had their heart set in another place

I surrendered, I lost Hope

I took my heart and buried it

It was easier that way

I wouldn't have to feel any more pain

I wouldn't have to think anymore or care!

Care if he looked at another Queen in front of me

I wouldn't have to feel the knife

when he would flirt with these other royalties

I finally excepted it and understood

I would never be any ones number 1

I would never be Cinderella

It was better that way

I would only be the Queen

Everyone claimed so beautiful

But in the end so lonely

The tears became icicles down my cheek

My skin became pale

I was no longer warm

But a cold snowflake

More like The Snow Queen

Who had to bury her heart

Love was a sin

A dreadful sin

One that cost me my mighty name

The Ice Queen

Poem 2: THE WHITE WOLF I PROMISE

THE WHITE WOLF (NIGHTCAFE)

I promise to love you forever

Because of you, the sun shines

You destroyed the darkness

I promise to love you forever because you reminded who I was

You put my heart right back in my chest

“Impossible,” he said

“For a beautiful creature to hide in darkness forever “

I promise to keep you safe and warm the king claimed

I will create a world where you won't have to fear love ever again

So she fell into his arms

Full of hope The Ice Queen Cried

Full o joyful tears

He promised to kill the beast who trapped her there

In the mist of it all and snow falling

The king and queen disappeared While the forest behind them started to melt

The heart of the queen started to defrost.
