The angels

human being strong enough to encounter circumstances

By Vhea VillenaPublished about a year ago 1 min read

She trusted the angels with her heart,
Believing they would never tear it apart,
But their promise was a lie,
And their actions made her heart cry.

The angels turned into beasts,
And her heart became their feast,
They tore it apart, piece by piece,
Leaving nothing but pain and grief.

The ones she thought would protect,
Became the ones she had to reject,
For the betrayal was too much to bear,
And her heart was left in disrepair.

But even in the midst of her pain,
She refused to let it be in vain,
She gathered the pieces, one by one,
And began to heal, though it was hard to be done.

She learned to trust again,
But this time, with caution, and no pretend,
For she knew that angels can be beasts,
And promises can be broken, causing griefs.

So she held her heart with care,
And guarded it, knowing it was rare,
For the angels who once caused her harm,
Were now far away, and couldn't cause any alarm.

And though her heart may have scars,
It still beats strong, like a shining star,
For she is a warrior, brave and true,
Who knows that love can be trusted anew
