The Ambitions of a Weird Little Woman
And Her Weird Little Mouse
I’m a weird little woman in a weird little house,
I’ve a weird little husband who’s a weird little mouse,
We’re a weird pair of weirdos with a weird sense of nous,
But you’ll never catch us dancing with that lousy loud-mouthed louse!
We go skating before breakfast, keeps me trim in weirdo blouse,
Then make love among the hedgerows. Well, he is my weirdo spouse!
You know, I’ve often thought how cute he looks in sandals and short trous
Idly fishing in weird starlit skies for eels and trout to souse.
We oft drink a toast to Jupiter as starward bound we browse
The galaxies for fantasies, champagne’s so sweet to dowse,
You may catch us sailing treetops hunting honey-roasted grouse
It’s a darling little pastime when you’re bored of playing Strauss
So if you’re ever in the area please feel free to check us “aus”
(But you’ll never catch us dancing with that lousy loud-mouthed louse!)
