Smoothly Touch Our Heart
Smooth, silky leaves hang on a willow tree.
Playing below, my sister and me.
Brushing beautiful blonde hair on a Palamino.
Gently braiding the tail, and off we go.
Where the meadows bloom with succulent flowers,
touching petals softly for hours.
Feathers gently fall into our palm.
A feeling of texture that is so calm.
Nature sounds tones of sweet bluegrass.
Memories of years that pass.
Calming times of down on the ranch.
As I reach high, holding the rippled branch.
The wheat grew high; fingers touched the tips.
Photographing moments and textures of the trips.
Time so sweetly touched our heart.
Like that of a sweet butter tart.
