Stranded

A Nonet Poem

By Kale Bova Published about a month ago 1 min read

Shallow sharks kept me on the sandbar

Afraid to jump, afraid to swim.

Rejecting love, counting fins.

You blended in with your

matching scaly skin.

How could I trust

again when

true love

sins.
