Stone Wall Silence

How will the wall come down?

Dear Brother,

Offenses taken

Pleas, trust, and faith forsaken

New pains awaken

---

Silence, shame, and guilt

Trowels lay mortar unspilt

Stone upon stone built

---

Darkness unbroken

Sunlight yet to be woken

No sorries spoken

---

Recall Jericho

When God threw down stones so low

Stone fields turn fallow

---

Breach and break this wall

Let stones cleave, fracture, and fall

Heave out dregs of gall

---

Apologies told

Forgiving all sevenfold

Love and joy take hold

---

With thankful heart,

Your Sister
