The road not taken

Leads to the abyss.

The crows guide my path

To the feet of the holy mount.

In the shadow,

I fall in worship.

Shadows falter and fall

In my gaze.

The light claims me,

Bathes me.

I am holy,

But only for a moment.

The light shines on;

The road continues.
