Exit stage left, my conscious mind

Cue the subconscious, for it is time to delve deep; this singular spotlight is yours alone

Lacrimosa, how symphonies crescendo and choirs swell, before they are cloaked and escorted to the background, hidden by velvet curtains softer than a lover’s forgiveness

In excelsis, glory be to this light which will return again, ten thousand fold and brighter than ever before

Phoenix of mine which flares between my heart and soul, you wrap your flames around my ribs, the fire setting alight a violent delight

Seraphim of darkness, your grin has already begun to melt from your lips, a candle whose wick has neared its drowning end

Enter stage right, Solaris, our hero in this Act II; stepping from the shadows at long last, your crown of gold blazing anew.

I like the echo of the beginning in the end, and the holy/sacred imagery fits nicely with the idea of an eclipse as something otherworldly or mystical:)
