home. where
once an empty grave of brick and broken spirit lay, now stands my salvation
molded in the shape of you. your divine silhouette cast by
evergreen hands gives my soul flight, and at long last i'm caught by your wanderlust ready to
leave thoughts of the past far behind, stowed in moth-bitten bags and boxes to rot
'eternally yours', my new benediction. i
squandered countless years pining for roots just out of reach when i desperately needed your wings.
so take to the skies and soar with me, my love. i'll follow you beyond the horizon.

Do your own thing, that is best for you
There a mournful feel to this, along with a longing for freedom. Gorgeous work, my friend. This here really stood out "squandered countless years pining for roots just out of reach when i desperately needed your wings."
"leave thoughts of the past far behind, stowed in moth-bitten bags and boxes to rot 'eternally yours', my new benediction." These were my favourite lines! Loved your Acrostic, my fear friend!
A well written poem.
Love this!
