Silver Spoon

A mid day ramble

Silver Spoon

Life wasn't handed to me on a silver spoon,

I worked for it.

I earned it.

Until one day,

It got torn to pieces by those I loved most.

I didn't eat from silver spoons.

I licked the blood of the knives that were thrown my way.

The life I built.

The one I really loved.

Got replaced with a whole new one.
