Serendipitous Encounter
A little poem about the eclipse

Every heart stutters and every footstep falls silent in
Concern for the blackening sky, the shadowed ground, the bright sun
Looming large, it's brightness feeding the blue shifting to
Ink spilled across the earth.
Purpose-built nothing, a phenomenal happenstance, a beautiful,
Serendipitous
Encounter with the lovely grey moon and her blazing lover.
