Alone

Sadness lives deep within the lines of life

Grief is a weird thing it often masquerades and hides.

Out of the darkness sadness bounds

Followed by grief, aloneness, pride

Pride, guilt, shame and selfdoubt

All are the same as they hide and seek out

Then the tide churns, anger comes in

Anger at others for daring to say

What you were feeling every moment of every day

The walls go up the battle lines flare

How dare they suggest!

This is all to real!

Back into the darkness

Retreat

Hide

Back to the grief, aloneness, pride

Back to the sadness

The cycle of fear charges up

Its time to find a way out.
