When the heart echoes-throbbing silence;

When love blows the wind we fail to catch,

What can life be?

When my youth swirl and sing aloud

The song of a lonesome beggar;

When none heed to my desperate call,

What can love be?

When the bees woo the flowers,

And the flowers succumb;

When the sky kisses the edges of the earth;

When I watch the rhythms of goddesses pass me by,

What can I do?

If I feel shame of my habitual effigy

Who should I blame?

If I was a boy

I would blame that I am coy.

Now that love passes and pulsates,

Now that I am young and strong,

In spite of fear and delusion,

I am obliged to catch her with all that I am!
