We search a lifetime
To find that spark within
Where and how do we begin
Like the farmer watering a seed
We are planted yet we’re still in need
What is our purpose what is our plan
Like we’re sailing a ship of ideas on dry land
Buffeted by circumstance we must stand
We must take the reigns assume command
This life is still our own uncover it like buried bones
Reaching striving just as the tide comes in
Our dreams are fragile like we built on sand
What is our purpose where is the time
These are the things that weigh upon our mind
No regrets as we start to climb those we left behind
Replant that seed once birthed in your dreams
Give no thought if you don’t have the time or means
Purpose is that which has the power to break the mold
Truth is that which does not change or grow old
Now we must all strive to see what our true purpose shall be
