Painting

Explain how I get lost in it

The art and craft store is just filled head to toe of empty canvas’, paint, and brushes.

This leaves you to your imagination to go wild.

Going down aisle by aisle trying to find the right size canvas to spill your imagination all over and finding all the colours you may need in paint.

Impatiently trying to hurry home to get all the idea’s out all over the canvas before it all goes away.

36 hours- five days later, after spending hours- even days, finally getting the final touches on the painting.

Painting is like being sucked into a parallel dimension in your own imagination, with no means of escape besides putting the brush down.

I cannot paint to save my life. I get this feeling at the bookstore or library, for sure. So glad that you had this wholesome experience. Would you be sharing your paintings?

  • Sometimes it does feel that way. Loved this so much!
