We know you see us, Father in Heaven,
just like you discipled the remaining eleven.
The Holy Spirit fell down like fire,
you fulfilled hope and burning desire.
You drove them to acts of overflow,
to get the world’s attention and, love, show.
You gave us the baton to race on;
you strengthen us, so weakness is gone.
We run to you on white sandy beaches,
on stages in our hearts, the Holy Spirit preaches.
We are to plead with all who are in need,
to receive the gospel, so that they can be freed.
