Nepal: Where Mountains Kiss the Sky

a country of mountains

Where Himalayas kiss the sky,

Nepal, a beauty born to fly.

Land of glaciers, etched in stone,

Emerald valleys, whispers lone.

-

Rice fields dance in sunlit sheen,

Villages nestled, ever green.

Prayer flags flutter, whispers light,

Monasteries pierce the morning's might.

-

Lumbini's cradle, Buddha's grace,

Echoes of peace in every space.

Trekking trails where spirits soar,

Past temples grand, and stories lore.

-

Rhinos roam in jungle's hush,

Tigers stalk, a silent crush.

Snow leopards prowl on mountain's crest,

Nature's jewels, put to the test.

-

Ganges whispers, ancient song,

Carrying history, ever strong.

Bhaktapur's temples, stories spun,

Durbar squares, where dances stun.

-

Everest beckons, white and grand,

A challenge whispered, hand in hand.

Yak bells chime, a caravan's call,

Through rhododendron, winter's shawl.

-

Nepali smiles, as warm as sun,

Kindred spirits, battles won.

Festivals burst, a vibrant hue,

Colors dance, dreams born anew.

-

From Terai's heat to mountain's chill,

Nepal's embrace, forever still.

So come, dear soul, and let her guide,

In this land of beauty, deep inside.

-

For Nepal's heart, a treasure trove,

Of ancient wisdom, whispered love.

Inspire your soul, let spirit rise,

In Nepal's embrace, beneath her skies.
