Why won't you stay where you belong?

Spider darling,

We've talked about this before.

You are half-way up the wall, not even that.

I ask you - is that where we said you could be?

Is that your agreed-upon territory?

Spider dear,

We've talked about this before,

although you've never said very much:

your continued residence implies acceptance

of living on the ceiling or tucked into a cornice.

Spider darling,

we've never talked about this,

but I'm afraid eviction is possible.

You are decently small and possibly clever

but you cannot outrun the bug-catcher.

Spider dear,

you may recall we discussed this before.

You've absolutely crossed your limits.

Eviction is near; this is your last warning,

You are out on your ear if you're there in the morning.

Spider darling,

we've talked about this before.

Get in; you're going on a trip to the door.

It's clear you want to live on the floor.

Go outside where there aren't rules to ignore.
