Nebulae

Now, we lay

It showers

down

upon me

the kisses

on the

neck

the first

drops

of the rain

the startle

and the way you gasp

as you gaze

up

into

the drain

the blue inside your eyes

the blue within your veins

out

upon

the waves

your iris undertow

pulls me to the depths

inside your brain

suspended in the void

I can see the bioluminescence

of the oceanic trenches

a watercolor painting

a sculptor of the Earth

an artist from above

sacred black inked into skin

you etched our initials

inside the primordial cave

underneath the waterfall

the ancient ceremonial

the bathing grounds await

a different time & space

water droplets

dangle

in the air

my giggle

condensed

in steam

marble walls surround us

a smoke dragon

lives inside the monolith

"Let me breathe your fire,"

get high when you breathe me in

iridescent soap bubbles

are floating on the wind

as you baptize my body

a cascade of moths

fluttering

ubiquitous

dilated pupils

divine presence

my oracle eyes

see past & future

thru iris wings

art
