Natures Awe

Even if just for the moment, I marvel...

By Tracy ToccaraPublished 3 years ago Updated 10 days ago 1 min read

Upon a boulder, I recline,

Feet dangling, free and fine.

My mind adrift in nature's call,

Subtle forces that enthrall.

The cavern's face, so raw and true,

Its imperfections on display for me to view.

Smooth surfaces, stone's variation,

Nature's art in purest creation.

I snap the scenes with eyes that see,

Photographic memories of wonder, wild and free.

The waterfall's reverberating, teal and green,

Mesmerizing, tranquil, a peaceful scene.

Peering down, the trees do sway,

Their limbs and leaves in water's play.

A watercolor dance upon the stream,

A moment's awe, a fleeting dream.

One with this majestic creation,

I marvel at its grand sensation.

Even just for this fleeting time,

In nature's gallery, sublime.
