The day I met you

I found a friend,

And a friendship that

I pray will never end.

You never ever judged me,

You understood my sorrow.

You told me the way of living life,

And gave me the hope of a better tomorrow.

You were always there for me.

I knew I could count on you.

You gave me your time, effort, advice and encouragement,

Whenever my mind stops working, what to do?

Your smile is so sweet,

Your support will make my future bright.

Your words pleased me and kept me going-

when the day was as dark as night.
