My thatch house

"suffering"

My thatch house is slowly coming apart.

The roof is deteriorating.

Even though I renew the grass,

I wish God could provide me with an appropriate job.

I wish I was able to construct a modern home.

I'm suffering in this house.

Every time it rains,

My house links.

Water falls from the thatch roof.

Right to my head.

I constantly change sites.

Why am I still alive?

Why don't I die?

The riddle of my life.

Is it true that God cares for me?

Oh yes, I guess he does.

God keeps renewing my strength.

God grant me tranquility.

Every time I plan to end my life,

I am putting my trust in God.

He keeps me safe inside this same house.

I'm still alive today because of God.

Timing is everything. He makes all things beautiful in His time. I always believe that, especially when things are beyond our control. Great poem. I love it! 😊

  • I loved how it changed from poignant to powerful! Awesome poem!
