My Son Was Born the Day My Mother Was Buried

The Greatest Gift on the Saddest Day of My Life

By Casimiro Filipe Published 3 years ago 1 min read
Me and my Son

I have heard several times that when one person dies, two people are eventually born somewhere in the universe. I feel like a king getting a prince because my second son was born as a gift to cheer me up in the most difficult moment of my life. My mother died on October 18 and was buried on the 21st of this month.

It is difficult to express a very important moment at the saddest moment!

You, my son, brightened my life, bringing me the hope of joy while my soul collapsed in a deep sadness!

You defined how I would deal with problems!

You guided me to control my tears!

Every feeling that passed was as if a piece of me was ripped out and rebuilt a bigger one than the past.

I love you, my son!

I charge you for the days of my life that I will take care of you and your brother, just as a king takes care of his princes.

My Sons

Today I look at you and see only hope for moving forward because your coming has brightened my days.

How good it has been to hold you in my arms and feel the joy in my heart!

How enjoyable it has been to hold you in my arms and kiss your face every day!

You have become a treasure, my beloved son in whom my soul takes pleasure.

I love you, my beloved son!
