My Purgatory

A Poem

The series of choices that got me here in life, live in-between living and death. Every option posed to me seems like a double-edged sword,

Choosing life = choosing pain that is unbearable

Choosing death = choosing to pass on the pain to those who chose life

So, I exist in the in-between.

I drink in existence despite the poison it has become. Finding remedies itself has been a difficult task as well. Mostly impossible.

I wish I was given a guidebook on how to find my way out of this place,

maybe then I wouldn’t just have to exist, but live.
