My Hand in the Clock

Will it stop?

By Makenna BoltonPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

I yearn to wander past the grass

to which my eyes share a glow

The artist’s brain can never rest

Chaotic and risky

yet down the river I flow

I’ve been suffocated to see

the deepest parts of me

Forever on a quest to find

a purpose that may never be

So, here I now speak

why I should like to go

Why not? Is my best answer

for my artistic brain

what I desire I may never know

For Fun

"Why not?" is probably the best way to start doing something.
