Money

a poem

By Nizam Uddin ApouPublished about a month ago 1 min read

Money! What the hell are you?

A piece of paper? a chunk of metal?

Then why people are so mad for you,

That they don't hesitate do something fatal.

People forget their loved ones,

Just to get hold of you for once.

Even the dearest one becomes enemy,

Whenever comes the matter of money.

Wondering what magic of you causing this madness,

That the world is now left with no kindness.

The longing to get hold of you eternally,

Humans don't hesitate to lose their sanity.

Millions are getting killed daily,

So that some people can fill their pocket abundantly.

People say that you are the second God,

But Oh Gracious Money, You are the Only God.
