in my mind

they told me my dad is gone.

chaos in my mind

I don’t know

if I know

he’s not coming back

it feels like that

but then it does not.

chaos in my life

chaos at my home

I never feel alone.

marriage

career

family

and friends.

am I even there?

I’m not giving up

I don’t think I am

but I’m not fighting either

so where do I stand?

fast paced life

routine

to do lists

errands

bills

goals unfulfilled.

I don’t have time

we don’t have money

there’s an excuse for everything

honey.

my life is chaos

my dreams are gone

I feel stuck

I am stuck

so where is that girl?

I think she’s gone.
