Midnight Muse

In the depths of night, when the world is still
I find myself alone, with time to fill
A pen in hand, and thoughts in mind
I let my creativity unwind

The moon hangs high, its silver light
Guiding my words through the quiet night
I start to write, the words flow free
A dance of thoughts and poetry

I write of love, in all its forms
Of hearts that break, and storms that form
I delve into the human soul
And capture every high and low

The ink spills out, onto the page
Creating a story, an ancient sage
I weave a tale of loss and gain
Of triumph and of endless pain

The minutes tick by, but I'm lost in the flow
Lost in the rhythm, lost in the glow
Of creation swirling in my mind
And the words that connect, intertwined

I write of nature, of its beauty and rage
The power it holds, on every page
I capture the essence of the Earth
And all its wonders, since its birth

The night grows short, but I still write on
The words keep coming, one by one
I feel the passion burning bright
As I write through the still of the night

I write of dreams, of hopes and fears
Of overcoming the darkest years
I paint a picture, with every line
Of a world where all souls can shine

And as the sun starts to creep in
I've filled my page with the words within
Seven minutes have come and gone
But the power of creation still lives on

For in this quiet, fleeting hour
I've harnessed the force of creative power
And as the world starts to wake
I'm left with the beauty of the words I make
