May Whimsy Ever Be With Us

Not flimsy, but saged enough.

May whimsy ever be with us

Not flimsy, but saged enough

To solemnize our every holy action

And yet joyful in blessed satisfaction

Free of the tracks we go

Till the soil be tilled anew

Rolling by with diamond thunder

Dharma’s wheel turning asunder

The dry, depleted

Lonely sandy luster

Of the bounty to be begat

Our dear truest wishes

Like sun-kissed, kind

Watery, seeded stitches

So heal and caress our multi-mind-field

With the fantasy of sometime

Though not all of it

There is a stall of it

Till lusted result resolve

Whence the buffering time dissolves

The cornucopia unfolds its fresh fruit

Dionysus’ vigor inspires the lute

Pan’s own proud production

After Hermes plays the abduction

Of Apollo’s celestial collection

Of harmonious compositions

Which dance planetary positions

Until the yielded work of play

Bombasts the foray

With a sacred sign of

Do what thou wilt

Will divine love

surreal poetry
