Love Beyond the Grave

A Poem on the Timeless Nature of Love

By Tamseela FarooqPublished about a year ago 1 min read

When the breath of life has left our frame,
And we depart from this earthly game,
Our flesh and bones may turn to dust,
But our love will never die, it must.

For love is not bound by mortal ties,
Nor limited by the finite size
Of our bodies, which will surely fade,
While love endures beyond the grave.

Though we may leave this world behind,
Our love still lingers in the mind
Of those who cherish memories dear,
And hold them close, forever near.

The laughter, tears, and moments shared,
The trials faced and burdens bared,
All form a bond that cannot break,
A love that time cannot forsake.

So let us live our lives with love,
And keep its flame burning bright above
The trials and tribulations of life,
For love will conquer all strife.

And even when our time has come,
And we must bid this world farewell,
Our love will live on, bright as the sun,
Forever in the hearts that we leave behind to dwell.
