Lost in the hue of it all

The colorful essence of me.

By Chauntelle APublished 3 years ago 2 min read

Buried so deep these emotions have finally overtaken me.

A peacefulness you no longer see existing.

The icy blue exterior is what you see of coldness,

Yet today a warm blue now surrounds me, bringing in a spirit of clarity.

For my preciousness and truth has brought about sorrow

The new version of me is mourning and remembering who I used to be.

Royal in my stance and graceful in how I move,

for the regalness and nobility have always represented who I wanted to be.

Sophistication is what I ooze heading directly toward mystery.

From lilac to violet, I'm apart of celebrating many things

Magical properties of which some cast around me

I’ve come to believe on certain days spirituality depicts me virtuously.

For the light you see is typically showcasing within me.

Cleanliness and a lack of color some see when looking at me.

In my true white hue representing the purity and innocence,

many wish they still knew pushed a little deeper in me.

Some say stark and sterile shows on my grim days.

But splendid dreams come through me, I strive to reflect others light and have them shine brightly.

Mourning the clear black and white of it all lost, as a result of my internal war.

Which facilitated the building rage I’m trying to hold in.

My feeling are hidden keeping that sense of mystery,

Creating a curiosity of who you see in me.

To depict the elegant persona some know so well.

But as the inkwell falls revealing a new image which will last

Through my opaque tint, you will never see me.

Love and passion are just a few things represented by my rich hue.

When desire takes hold and determination knows no doubt

I am there to radiate brightly and take my bow.

Kinship, health, and energy all show their prosperous properties to me.

Fall and harvest display the playfulness enjoyed within me echoed in my purest form.

With peach, orange, and ginger all here, no wonder gluttony appears when this hue is near.

Happiness, courage, cheer, mourning, and jealousy

Are the range of emotions associated with me

The brightest of my brightness in my color, no wonder I represent intellect.

Warmth, sunshine and golden specks of light displaying vibrant through me.

A warning sign sure gets your attention.

But hope also creates a desire for more, as many see and seek learning about me.

Envy is mine solely, not just in the eyes,

for honor you see plays a major part of me.

Nature, freshness, infertility bring relaxation and calm thanks to me.

Prestige and money go hand-in-hand.

First seeing me as safety, representing growth, and fertility.

I will say mother nature sure loves me.

Be it that colors are all around it's easy to get lost,

Or ignore their beauty in enhancing and manifest in our lives differently.

In colors, you see life, emotion, and properties reflected in the eyes of everyone around the world to see harmoniously.

There many meanings are displayed on and through me.

See, I'm like an agama. My outfit or exterior colors reflect my mood.

My surroundings changes my colors and your perspective of how you read me.
