Losing It

A love built to last but fell down fast

By Nikki SixxxPublished 13 days ago 1 min read
Restart Heart?

im losing it

feel stupid

dreams lucid

I’m wounded

broken

a little outspoken

your joking

while I’m choking

it’s provoking

an enemy

outta me

can’t you see

that we

continue to be

separated by others

supposed to be lovers

I’ll never recover

just made it tougher

but you don’t care

cause your unaware

of the unfair

compare

lost while I stare

I gave all I could bare

you said I wasn’t there?

you never were

but it’s all a blur

as I slur

cause u prefer

to decide my path

but you can’t do my math

actin like a brat

I’m not cool with that

called me a rat

knocked me off my feet

rewind, repeat

I couldn’t take the heat

living in the street

sometimes we didn’t eat

but I stood ten toes down

even slept on the ground

but now I’m the clown

what I thought was love

was just a shove

so your tough,

gruff

and ruff

well I call your bluff

so when is enough

gonna be enough

the love from you was fake

my tears fill a lake

all because you think i can’t shake

the pain I can’t take

my heartbreak

when it’s you there gonna take

how would you feel

if this had been a reverse deal

would you ever heal

from so much pain you can’t conceal

this shit is unreal

for real

our vows unseal

well we are out of time

I thought I was your dime

fake love is a crime

had it in your prime

but then again,

the man I married was Joey,

my best friend…….

if you see him tell him I love him
