It becomes a true challenge to realize ourselves within society when there are many fights and external components. We get messages that make us believe in things and behave in a certain way; this is why it is hard for us to be true to ourselves.

Forgetting our feelings is an attempt not to look at the scale, so we can go on eating; it leads to confusion and then a total disconnect. Sweeping our feelings away will never help us to navigate into our mind, through which we can deal with stress and increase our resiliency.

Even though we cannot control everyone and everything around us, we can still cultivate our inner selves. The heart—there, alone—is the cornerstone that we are here to mold when the storms of life beat heavily against us.

The world around us teaches us to acquire as many items as possible, but true peace comes from something that we carry within us. Gratitude for what we already have is the key to inner peace and self-awareness.

Ultimately, there is no point in just working for others and not thinking about yourself and your own needs within the family. What we usually do is discard the very essence of ours in an attempt to satisfy the needs of everyone else.

Another essential strategy for managing stress is focused breathing. Instruction: One of the effective tactics in managing stress is focused breathing. The limit of boundaries protects our individuality and makes life more fulfilling.

Building resilience takes time. It is scary to take our first step, but actually, we all need to do so for personal development and experience fulfillment.

Authenticity outweighs constant happiness. Even painful feelings include us acting identically toward others, however people of different experience and emotions.

Self-deception leads us astray. Honesty towards ourselves is the key to growth and being self-aware.

Our internal resource, mental energy is very limited; it is not worth disposing of it by comparing ourselves to other people. Self-regulation is the key that helps preserve such energy for the right centers in our lives.

To sum up, facing our emotions, creating limits, strengthening the inner self, going after our dreams, and being honest are the basic requirements for a happy life despite the chaos of life.
