kill

(me)

By Sara Published 4 months ago 1 min read

kiss me.

spit life

onto my

parched tongue.

call me.

yours,

my name

out loud.

choke me.

your hands,

my neck,

digging fingernails.

kill me.

my soul,

part of yours,

like dandelions dissolve.

curse me.

for the lies,

the pleasure,

the aching hunger.

kiss me/curse me/kill me.

with your cracked fingernails,

with all the burning in your chest,

with your soul deep as the ocean,

with your bleeding lips,

with your eyes that shine like stars,

with the screams you swallow,

and the songs you sing.

choke me/call me/keep me.

keep me.

a secret,

for a moment,

color me with scars and sunshine.

Ay carumba! This is fire. All kinds of fire. So visceral...but with a heartfelt strange beauty to it. Love the rawness of your work. That image is fire too!
