In shadows cast by yesteryears' pain,

My inner child, softly, do not disdain.

Through tears and fears, you held on tight,

Seeking solace in the darkest night.

But now, dear child, it's time to mend,

To find the light around the bend.

Embrace the scars that shaped your soul,

Let healing waves make you whole.

For in your innocence, a strength resides,

A resilience that forever abides.

Through trials faced and battles won,

Your spirit shines like the morning sun.

So dance with joy, and laugh with glee,

Embrace the love that sets you free.

For your wounded past, now laid to rest,

In your heart, peace finds its nest.

This was really good! Love the rhyming scheme. Read it out loud and it hit perfectly
