It only takes a word

for a track to shift its gear.

To change a vision to be a stranger's.

To clasp a mind out of trembling hands.

--

A mind is a thing of fuzz.

Softly weaved by other's touch.

And when it's afraid of the manipulation,

It shrinks till it can't be reached.

--

How to own what's controlled by outsiders?

How to call a choice my own?

How to be something of my dreams

that wasn't formed by a peek into yesterday?

--

What's a thought if it's not from individuality?

What's a brain if it's not controlled?

What's a move if it's not from desire?

What's a decision if it's not chosen through choice?

--

How to control what's rigtfully mine?

How to be strong enough to fight for rulership?

How to find what's inside and ride with it?

How to allow other's words to be, but not overtake?

How to own what's controlled by outsiders?- what a question. Great poem. Like always 😉

Wow! So relatable questions. It’s so hard to think on our own, especially when others constantly give their opinions about your life decisions.
