In living color

Truth

By Gregory AndersonPublished about a year ago 1 min read

In living color we are created

In living color we must learn to give

In the wholeness of our humanity

It’s together we must learn to live

From the shade and hue of the human skin

Complex elements of DNA reside within

Optics of light from the prism which we see

The the depth of humanity do you really see me

Lessons pass from generation to generation

Only life affirming lessons are worth saving

Seeds of darkness planted grow deep within

Hatred is on display and proof of human sin

When all we need is to see each other to begin

Teach the young and we must feed their soul

Never allow the darkness of life to take hold

Pass the torch let us instill that which is right

Let not the wisdom we have learned pass from sight

The time has come and is now at hand we must work together hand in hand only together can we develop a plan

Life is granted and still we know life is not promised to any human soul

In pain we are knocked down and in pain we must stand not understanding his will or his plan

We must turn the light to shine within

Still in the midst of our pain we must lean on him

We each have been young and may live to be old

My God grant us peace that sustains our soul

We must be strong brave and bold for this world that we are in seems so cold
