A Poem on Purpose

Everything has a purpose, so an old saying, and song. It's human to struggle with understanding what we're meant to do in life, and the reason behind each challenge we face. It's a hurdle that has daunted me for the longest time. And it still does.

Unravelling one's purpose is no small task. It requires bountiful introspection, willingness to explore one's strengths and more willingness to accept change.

And the biggest hurdle to overcome? Trust. Trusting that everything will unfold in good time. Enjoy these Senryus.

Hands of the clock turn

Needles wind by unknown force

Point to way ahead

Hands of the clock turn

Seek reason for revolving

Pointing to one's path

Hands of the clock wind

Needles turn with Guidance

Golden path will show.

Yes, everything happens for a reason but I just wish we knew what the reason was, lol. Loved your poem!
