Love You

You had to leave

I made you leave

Because you were breaking my heart.

What if it’s broken anyway?

Maybe I can have you anyway.

I made you go

Because you took my life away.

You still do.

So why don’t I let you come back?

My heart is yours anyway.

I may as well have you,

For the pain

And the long nights I spend alone

For the sweatshirts

And the hugs.

I never stopped loving you.

I may as well love you

For real.

With a broken heart

That you will break again

And all of my soul.
