I might die this way

"Life is unfair"

I might die this way

Perhaps God can turn things around.

The hope within me

and wishes that I cherish.

There's a lot within my heavy heart.

I'm looking at every situation in a positive way.

I'm looking at life and taking things one step at a time.

Experiencing sorrow and embarrassment

The unfortunate moments of my life

All of those memories stay in my heart.

Sometimes I think I'm cursed.

When I look at people who are similar to me,

I mean those who have no shelter.

I see that life is unfair.

God might have made it that way.

He knew that there would be us, beggars like myself.

He knew that there would be those whom we would beg from.

Then I accepted that I might die this way.

Your poem is a heartbreaking ....yet powerful reflection on the human condition....I liked it😊

  • I like your opening statement. It's very powerful! God's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts aren't like ours. He sees, He knows, and He sends Deliverers ahead of time, to deliver His people. Don't lose your hope. Don't lose your faith in God. Trust Him. 🙏

  • This was so poignant and heartbreaking. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
