Splashing over the sprinkled memories of thee,

You ponder over the thought of how it could be.

Reminiscing the golden days that held a silver line,

The days that foster your present seem to have absolved their shine

Trotting over the broken pieces of allured tales,

The menace of time hammers its wheelings,

Leaving you broken and frail.

Syllables recorded in defiance creep in silent footsteps,

Crawling into the spine they dwell in the mind,

In the abyss of finding ourselves, we wearily lose ourselves to the grind.

Society plonks us all into the conventions of accepted views,

Cascading in the rhythms of its societal race beheld to be its sinew.

A life built us with unique lines of time,

To forge ourselves with authenticity in the hard climb.

I hope this reminds you,

In the embrace of vulnerability, build the home within thee,

In the embosom of love, I hope you foster to become the best you could be.
