I Got Stuck

When I found you, I lost me.

By M.K JonaePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

I got stuck wanting you

I got use to getting lost in you

From the way you made me feel, I barely thought of it as a lost

I thought of it as a new discovery, you were so exciting, it was a pleasure to be lost

So, when I found you I lost me

Lost the me that loved the world without your useless assistance

Now I am stuck in this battle of resistance

The comfort of you being here for me

I never had anyone here for me

So, when I found you I lost me

I gave you all of my green.

My jealousy, my money, and you as well all green

You took away every feeling I had until I was a ghost in a shell

Completely blinded by my own contribution to this caged hell

So, when I found you I lost me

Every now and then I pull back from the bliss

Just to fall in love with Mary Jane all over again.

Just to feel the sweet relief

Just so I can lose myself again.
